		<description>Back in the 1960s and seventies, large flocks used to be seen. At migrating times around March, one could feel the downward thrust of their wings, such were the numbers. Not today, as with so many of our wonerious migrating birds the numbers are in shart decline. I&#039;m refering to the Manakau Harbour.</description>

		<description>I really like this ol&#039; girl. The lick of blue paint shows someone sometime tried to tidy her up a bit...but sadly no amount of lippy could save her. 
This captures the plight of the NZ rural community&#039;s history. So many of the old buildings have gone, taking with them tales of families struggling to survive in our often harsh countryisde.</description>
